sold Wanted - Snapper lead moulds, any sizes up to 6

Hi,

I'm planning on drilling out the moulds to insert a wire loop for power casting - the lead loops are wearing alarmingly on my normal ones and I don't want to kill anybody :woohoo:

If anybody has some old moulds lying around let me know, I'm happy to pay something for them but as it's a bit experimental it may go horribly wrong so I don't want to buy new... Planning on drilling some of the finished leads and inserting anchor grips made from heavy strimmer line for heavy surf and windy conditions.

There's a few leads in for you too

You can make your snapper leads a lot harder by using about 30% wheel weights or printers lead or just make them entirely out of those 2 types of lead and they will be rock hard and not wear through.

I didn't think of altering the mixture, please could you explain what you mean by printers lead? I've heard wheel weights kick up a lot of fumes when they're melted down so if printers lead is any better I will probably give that a go - just need to find some good value moulds now...

If you had access to a rifle range, lead collection would assist in lead recipes. Have you tried ebay for some moulds?
