just a quick question whats the heaviest or largest size baitcaster that you would put on a 2kg-4kg rod?

that all depends on what your casting weight is, onviously your not lookin to cast 1/4 ounce lures off a big reel?

calcutta 200 model would be as big as id go.

nope not after chuckuing slugs and heavy stuff - i already have a corvalas 200 (weighs 7gms more then calcutta 200)- came with a free rod in the 6kg-8kg which i find a bit heavy - found a few decent rods at bcf last night in the 2-4 and was thinking they may be better rod to use
