Howdy!

With the car been sent off for hail repairs for the next 4 to 5 weeks and not taking the boat over easter, a river run was going to happen no matter what.

After checking conditions of 15 knots and a 2pm low, my self and joe were keen.

Well after a brain fart the 2pm low was actually a 2pm High :dry:

With-out been able to pump yabbies, my only option was to cast net for bait. I manage good numbers of greasies and a few foot long mullet, whilst I waited for joe to rock up at 5pm.

Water was still very fresh

Dropped of a few pots in the deep water. I only had 4 and lost one when the rope tangled and I put it in 6m of water (sorry Jesus & fish gods).

Fished and crabbed (with 3 pots) till 4am. Plenty of cat fish and stingrays, but managed 17 keeper bream, and 5 bigger model bucks which were all nice and full.

Only have a photo from Joe's divided catch as I couldn't be bothered to take a photo of the combined lot at 5am at home as I was buggered.

going to be a bit depressing not been able to take the boat out for a while.
