queensland Gold coast Beach fishing

I am thinking about fishing the beaches of the gold coast such as broadbeach sometime next week and I have never fished there before so i don't really know what to expect. Is it like the sunshine coast? Bream, dart, whiting, flathead or maybe a tailor at this time of year.

Any help for the subject would be helpful.

Good chance for Tailor. Look for the deep gutters and white water.

Try for whiting and dart, they're every where!

Can anyone let me know what's a good rig to use for dart,, hook, line and sinker size for the surf ?Never caught one and never fished for them , would like to give it a go over the next few weeks.

Any tips would be welcome.

Pretty much identical to whiting.

I'll post some soon eventually. Got good size whiting the whole time. Legal fish were 6 whiting, 1 bream and 3 dart in 2 mornings
