Hi forum.

Want to get into some mudcrab in maroochy river. But no boat yet.whereabouts can you drop pots from the bank.i hear bli bli is good.anyone suggest a location. Thx

I think google maps will be your best friend for this question.

I am not from the area so not really sure but I have always found people less likely to give away crabbing spots than fishing spots  At least without a trade.

Remember crabs (especially muddies) hate fresh water - the Maroochy has a little bit of fresh flow at the moment so crabs will choof off downstream until salinity levels recover. But yes, Bli Bli is usually a good spot
