queensland Anyone Head Out Into The Bay Tomorrow?

anyone heading out into the bay for a fish tomorrow? im not the best at reading weathers, the swell is high 1.8M but intervals are like 10+ seconds would it be okay with a 8 knots SE winds? boats a 5.5M cuddy cabin

Mate you will have no problem. Remember there is no swell inside the bay, however depending on swell direction you can get a little bit of it starting just south of the M3 and M4 markers at the top of the bay. Below 10 knots is doable in most boats out there and you will definitely be ok in a boat of your size  . Be sure to check the other weather forecast sites such as willyweather, bureau of meteorology and windfinder so you can get a better understanding of what it might be like out there.

Wind direction and tides are probably more important in the bay/ creeks.

 

We heading out Saturday afternoon/ night for a fish in the caboolture. Lucky wind's are with the tides. 

BUT! i still laugh in the face of danger.
