Recreation site opening hours change from 1 May 2016

From 1 May 2016, the opening hours at our recreation lakes and parks will change to 6.30 am - 5.30 pm until the end of August 2016.

This is part of the 12 month trial of extended recreation hours which started from Tuesday 1 December 2015. The new hours are:

• September – April: 5.30 am – 6.30 pm
• May – August: 6.30 am – 5.30 pm 

During this trial, we encourage you to let us know what you think of the new hours by calling 1800 737 928 FREE or emailing recreation@seqwater.com.au

Your feedback will help us make a decision as to whether the new hours will remain permanently, at the end of the trial.

Why do the hours need to change for different seasons?  Don't they want you out on the water in the dark?

Only water access allowed during daylight hours.
