queensland Spoons,tailspinners,beetlespins And Hardbodies = 52

Twas a bit cool this morning getting the feet wet launching the yak. After a few hundred metres the toes were numb and I couldnt feel the cold. Off I went in search of those big skinny bass to try a new lure I shouted myself a norries wasabi spoon, they have been out for awhile, but I have been having that much fun on tailspinners that I hadnt got around to trying them. Oh and the cost around $20.

Well I managed 6 bass trolling up the dam before I found a few on the sounder schooled up. I pulled up and started jigging with the tailspinner, the bass were starving and were hitting like freight trains. I remembered I had  my new spoon with me and quickly put it on and was on right away, I was getting a fish a cast and the tally was going up. I left them for awhile and went for an explore to the edges and managed a few on the beetlespins, then back to the spoons and jigs before trolling home. Managed 52 bass with most over the 40cm mark .
