Went for a walk to the upper reaches of NPD this morning, I wanted to see what amount of rain entered the dam over the weekend. It looked like none, there was hardly any flow going into the dam and hardly any rise in the water. It was bone dry in a lot of places, it was hard to find somewhere to cast a lure. I had to go for a big walk, lucky I had the wind behind me as each step covered about 4 metres.

Fishing was a bit hard as when I cast it was up in the air and back at my feet, then after I turned a corner and the wind was behind me, each time I cast I nearly got spooled. Managed to find one bass then on my way back to the car picked up a half kilo of sinkers, could of got more if I stayed longer.
