queensland Toorbul Comp - March

Quick report

Last weekend was the March comp for the Toorbul Fishing Club.

Fished my normal spots between Coochin and Hussey Creeks.  The water was still pretty dirty so I didn’t have high expectations.

 

Surprisingly the bite was pretty hot all morning.  We would pick up a few legal fish and after 30mins it would go quiet.  We would more about 50m and pick up a few more.

all fish were caught on yabbies.

Final tally was 12 whiting and 3 bream.  I ended up winning Men’s B Grade and Largest whiting.
