Found another use for pool noodles !

Just made a rig dispenser for my bait board.

Hoping it keeps my gangs and mackerel rigs easily accessible and tangle free .

The only problem I see there is if you hit a bit of rough stuff and grab hold of it thinking it's a hand rail. ha ha.

Looks good. I do something similar when bait fishing for snaps. Will normally pre tie half a dozen snelled rigs with varied size sinkers, leaders n hooks and wrap them around the pool noodle. Makes it so much easier to quickly change rig to suit bait and conditions or simply to put a new one on when something with teeth decides it needs your rig more than you.!

Yep they work well for pre rigs. The best utilisation of them I have seen thus far was by Sea Probe charters. They have them cut short and wrapped with rigs and stashed neatly away in pockets with doors. Only the decky can get his hands on them.

These neoprene Tronix rig winders are handy for carrying pre-tied rigs around in your tackle bag. You should be able to find them or something very similar online. They're not expensive and saves you having to cut up pool noodles. They're also a bit more secure because of the raised edges. You can use the different colours to colour code your rigs for different line strengths.

Looks a good product - just looked them up and the box with 24 of them would work well. Only issue could be that gang hook rigs don’t fit in them?

Probably not suitable for every type of rig but for simple leaders they're great.
