looking for pflueger rods

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any Pflueger rods for sale in particular the Trion bream specialist 7” PFLT-SP7O2L. I broke my Dads a while ago and have been struggling to find one to replace. He loves the brand in general so happy to see what others you have.  On the Gold Coast but happy to travel! Cheers

or, if you are happy with a substitute, Pflueger is owned by Pure Fishing who also own Penn, Berkley and Abu Garcia. So you could look for a rod with similar specs from these companies. Abu Garcia Rayrex has a SP702 for around $100.

Rayrex II Spinning - Abu Garcia Fishing (abugarcia-fishing.com.au)

I rate the Abu Garcia salty stage line of rods for feel and components; likely made in the same factory as the previous generations of Pflueger....(Chyna)

My guess is those were build on IM6 (intermediate modulus) blanks which are widely available; any decent custom rod builder could access a similar blank and components (cork grips? fuji alconite guides?) and build you a reasonable replica, even better if you drop the old rod off to him/her to plan the build off

Thanks so much for your reply. I’ll wait a little to see if one may pop up he was in love with this particular rod. But I’ll definitely look into the ones you mentioned!
