Well, I guess everyone these days knows 'monkey' is used as a derogatory term when directed at aboriginals. I think Leniu should have known better, especially after the furor created with the Adam Goodes incident. He may not have meant it in a racist way, as he has stated, but I bet he doesn't say it again. I thought the 8 weeks was somewhere in the middle of expectations.

Of past friends, I never knew the real name of one. We all just called him Choc. Never thought anything of it. Times have changed.

I've called my kids little monkeys when they were little too and I'm sure people still do.

Agree. Other's tips are not available until after the game.

Another thing it has done is change some of my picks. It says i tipped against the Panthers, at home! It also says i set a margin for the Cronulla/Bulldogs game of 3. Three! I never pick 3. 
 

Regardless of the total correct picks it has given me (3 instead of 4), it reckons I’m on a 4 game streak! Go figure.

I picked them a week or more ago. It said 8/8. Then I went in after a few games and noticed that it had allocated them all to auto-picks. I adjusted the remaining games to what I actually wanted. Even now it’s saying I’m on a six game winning steak. How? It picked Parramatta and I lost that one? Weird.

Greg, I still have no clue as to what could have happened. What are your Auto pick settings ? Home team, Away team, or Sports Bet Favourite ?

That try was unbelievable. Warriors were unlucky not to win. As were Newcastle. Worked out well for us tipsters though. @GregOug, I haven’t had any trouble with tips or margins changing but it takes the fun out of it a bit when you can’t see others tips during the game.

I wouldn’t have a clue. Must be Sports Bet Favourite because it picked home, home, away. Although I wouldn’t have thought Parramatta would have been favourites?

Yeah Greg, I've had a battle getting in the group and then ended up with 3 places, then some one tried hacking my puter and its been in the doctors for a week. Got it back today, will have to see how round 3 picks go. Don't know why they need to change sh@t all the time, just leave it alone, I suppose it keeps some clown in a job.

It’s only round 2 and the rustiness is noticeable… The Broncos nearly always looked in control, even with the, at times, fumbling and bumbling… the Bunnies look a team that has deep problems, distorted and divided…

once again the Sharks appear to have an easier draw in the early part of the season, to  build up the early ladder points…. it’s a long way to the home straight

this game was always going to be a showing of where the Eels are starting 2024..  the  2^nd 40 minutes show they may struggle in a top 8 position again… if they are in the season’s ending  top 8

SATURDAY MARCH 16

Raiders 32  vs.  12 Tigers GIO Stadium 2:00pm AEST
2024 may be another long season for the Tigers… if the NRL media’s ‘self  appointed’ NRL experts along with the aged ‘ ex team support players’ now self appointed ‘yesteryear’s game heroes, with their mid week expert opiniated commentary, started focusing on the Tigers  rebuild positives, it may go a long way to help lift the lower ladder as a whole.

 

Cowboys 21  vs.  20 Knights Qld Country Bank Stadium 4:30pm AEST
fancy that… the Knights turned up wanting and playing for the win… the Cowboys never looked comfortable in this match, trailed all game until 77 minute mark  to get to a 80 minute 20 -20 scoreline…GP in play.. 81 minutes Chad Townsend puts in a pot shot, winner-winner Cowboys get the chicken dinner

Storm 30  vs.  26 Warriors AAMI Park 6:35pm AEST
there you go 12 points in 3 minutes… and a flying Big Top acrobatic touch down by Coates  snatched game-set-and match from the gut-wrenched Warriors (and the Kiwi Storm supporters wearing their homeland jerseys for the night)

SUNDAY MARCH 17

Yeah okay…. Manly has won 2 in a row to start 2024… the Roosters turned themselves into achicken and chips dinner by the seaside

Dolphins 38  vs. 0 Dragons Kayo Stadium 5:15pm AEST
leading into round 1, Bennett  said no one’s position in 2024 was safe… after the round 1 performance, Bennett and Woolfe  having given first up opportunities, culled the unproductive potential and round 2 flowed smother with a 38 – 0 win….
Go the Dolphins, BUT… they did clean up the 2023 Ladder 16^th place…

Yep. Haas was still in when I commented. Now he's out for 4+ weeks. Ouch. I think Madden is capable of doing the job, but I'm not sure that Haas is replaceable.
