queensland Gerty + Me @ Oxley Creek

hey, today gerty and i went for a fish off the pontoon at Oxley creek. We Caught 3 bream and about 6 Toado's. But considering we were only there for about 4hours it was a good session. My bream was measured 28cm, while gerties huge/mutant toadfish was 38cm!!. we are hopefully going again early tomorrow moring. By the way, we were using cooked prawns as bait.

Nice fish. Only 4 hours... thats heaps long! How long do you normally spend there?

well true probably max 6 hours... going back tomorrow at like 5 am! to catch the tide coming in.

Cooked prawns!! Haha. Well bream are notr exactly finicky up there i guess.

Went down there again this morning around 5am!! surprised we actually woke up...we got there and we werent as succesfull as yesterday...i dont know what happened...we caught one 28cm bream on the cooked prawns again but that was it. i dont know what it was...does the rain happen to turn the fish on...cus on saturday it was raining and there were heaps of bites.
