Kayak Sails

G'day Yakkers, I managed to see a couple of yaks coming up the Passage this morning under full sail, and holy c##p they were up it for the rent. I also saw one fitted to a Prowler 13 last week as well. I'm not interested in getting one myself, but they sure had my attention when working as they should. I have put up a couple of pics just for show and tell.

I've heard of them being used in the Noosa river as well. They look pretty cool, but would be a pain while fishing:S

Not really, because when not in use they lay down flat on the bow of the yak.:woohoo: :woohoo: , yep, opened my eyes as well.

just use a golf umbrella

I have heard stories of blokes using an umbrella, I just didn't want to look like a wally doing it.
