Threadfins in the Brisbane River

Hey all

where is a good spot tp drop a line for a few threadies.

And what bait do I use.

I live near Annerly and was wondering about just ducking down to the river at Graceville one evening and droppin a line in?

my questions, seems amywhere along that stretch is as good a place to try, I guess.

they catch them at the pontoon which the brissy river meets the mouth of oxley creek at tennyson

Mate you can catch threadys pretty much anywhere in the river from the mouth to about colleges. Use live prawns, dont cast to far, or youll just get monsterd by cattys, and hold on!

if only dead prawns can do the job as well. it's really hard to get live prawns most of the time
