Hi guys,

We went out to Flinders Reef and various other hotspots around that location today.

Paid off well.

Came home with a mixed bag of squire, cod (4.5kg), big mother-in-laws (slatey breams) , tusk, sweetlip and a few great stories.

I got busted off with 30lb Black Magic Black Braid on a Black Magic BMX reel, by something very big.

I got a bit drag happy and laid the reel to 'Full' drag. (stupid me)

The fight was similar to that of a cobia.

Anyway, weather was almost perfect for us and all the crew took home a nice feed for the families.

Can't wait to hit it again.

What a great season this is turning out to be.

Some sort of Japanese dish that Satomi put together.

Tasted nice with soy over the top.

What was the broth like in the dish? Similar to Miso?
