queensland newstead this morning and tonight

Hi guys,

on the way to work this morning i drove past breakfast creek at about 7 am and saw a kayaker at the mouth fishing there. preeeety sure it was someone from this site because i recognised the kayak. just wondering how you went if it was in fact someone from the site. also is anyone going to newstead tonight for a fish?

Yes I will be heading down there for a fish tonight... I am going to go with bait for a while of the jetty then as the tide runs up (Low 5:15pm 0.27m,High 11:50pm 2.64m)

Then swap to lures along the walk way...

yeah that was me! got two bream there trolling along besides the walkways.

did a bit of an explore and found plenty of structure, and fish-like arches on the sounder, but nothing biting aside from the two bream.

haha i recognised that huge esky from one of your other pics. thats a shame you diddnt get anything else. when i go to work at the crack of dawn i often see some guys down there fishing on the point with very very heavy gear. im asuming they are after sharks but i havnt called in to ask them yet.
