Hi guys we are going for a drive to Townsville at the end of the month on a bit of a recon trip as we are seriosly considering moving up there at the end of the year when the wife finishes her studies:cheer: What I would like to find out is any good land based fishing spots up that way' also am going to try to squeeze in a run up to Hinchinbrook so also any fishing guides in either Townsville or Hinchinbrook

I lived in Townsville for 26 years.

I know some very good landbased fishing spots for sw Barra and at this time of the year, doggy mackerel off the rocks.

Hey Azza just moved back from up that way, lived there for a couple of years for work.. I know some craker land based spots up that way, do you a have a 4x4?

you could try crackajack fishing charters in lucinda for hinchinbrook fishing, a really nice boat and nice guide

Sorry I didn,t respond earlier forgot about the thread yes have got a patrol and will be towing a camper trailer
