queensland Macleay 7/6

Had a night time session at Macleay Island last night with my brother. Not too much to report apart from the a reasonable amount of undersize squire, two sharks (my first) and a sole. Bite was pretty good around dusk but went a bit quiet after that, but was still a good night.

not sure mate...never caught any before so not familiar with the different species..this pic help?

Sounds like a fun trip, those sharks would have been fun and as feral said, would have got your hopes up for a bit. If it was me in the dark I probably would have called them for a cobia at first glimpse... :silly:
