After spending the early morning using livies and plastics at Tinny creek with a few mates proved unsuccessful (lots of little cod, a small jew and rays) I thought I would just trot down to Bulimba creek were Dave and I usually go. A nice little spot and for a $1.20 for a bag of bread a good cheap way to spend a Sunday arvo. Started of catching eel tailed catties ( always seem to get a few of these here) and gold fish when a few big splashes started hitting the burley, Threw on a float and landed four good size Mullet a great fight on four lb line on tackle warehouse combo ( I now know why Dave loves chasing these things). Now for the big test, first time using my girlfriends digital camera, lets see if I can get this photo thing to work.

From the past few reports there it seems you and Dave may have actually dented the Tilapia and Goldy population.

Mullet will be Bait,Yeah I don't know where the Tilapia are, seem to be getting a lot of Eel tailed catfish ever since I vowed to stop eating native fish always the way lol

I'd love to hook a couple of those mullet on whole!

Looks like I might have to pay ol' Bulimba creek a visit!
