queensland Mud 21/6/08

Rum Runner (Ian) and myself headed out this morning bout 5ish saw us on the water

The wind had picked up a bit but was still fishable so off to the south west side of Mud we got onto some nice peaks and valleys on the sounder so dropped the pick.

Well it didn't take long and Ian was on :woohoo:

then

not a monster but still a good start no long after Bang another hit and Ian was on again :woohoo:

Once again no monsters but It did pop the rods cherry

We were constanatly getting hammered by little baitstealers so we decided to move

Then after what felt like a good bite bag I was snagged UMM Ian why is my snag moving

Then a serious bend in my $29 dollar rod from Anaconda

WTF is it sheit it's a wobbigong

Ian did a great job in netting him looking more than 4 feet in the boat

nasty sucker tried to eat me a few times

and get this popped that rods cherry too

and then the funniest thing happened as Ian told this thing to eat my shorts it F%$%ind did :woohoo:

Ian Got a very small brembo

and I ended up with this MOnster

I forgot to mention we did have a bit of strife with the anchor it decided to get all outta shape on the first reef :silly:

which made holding ground really hard so we pulled the pin

Tally for the day LOTS of fish

1x bent anchor

4x rod virgins (not bad hey me with 1 and Ian with 3 :woohoo: :woohoo: )

1x pb fish for the boat

1x very good day many Laughs great fun more to come

2x very happy fishy Men

Good morning guys. Some serious hurt on the anchor :ohmy:, might have to try a reef anchor there next time by the looks. :laugh:
