Kookaburra Park Advice

Managed to get a few days off next week and want to try some different fishing spots.

Thought I might put the boat in at kooka park.

Any advice on where to head (upstream/downstream), secret spots, what baits to take or even if its worth trying up there at this time of year.

Any advice welcome.

not real good up there in the cooler months imo

much better on a hot summer night

try the shallow places between colledges and kooka park

on a run out tide for flathead

just watch your prop on the rocks

Go right from the ramp, (only a few yards) on the far bank is a series of rock bars from in front of the BBQ's upstream to the pontoon, just drift along there for a good shot at some bream.

Also has the advantage its in the 6 knot zone and the ski lice go the other way.
