Fixing fibreglass

Hey all seein that i am fisxin my boat up bit by bit, i now am looking at fisxing a few things in the fibreglass? anyideas on weather i should give it a go anyone out there done it and hopefully give me a bit of advice?

hi.

yes i have done a fair bit of glassing and imo it is not ezy!

it is a very messy job that requires a fair bit of knowhow to produce a long lasting repair or structure!

the main thing is trial and error!

or leave it to the pro's if you dont have time or money for the errors!

i can do the job for you at a good price if you feel you dont want to take on the task?

I am with rumrunner. Having done a bit of f/glass work I think it is best left to the pros or those that have some experience with f/glass.

My limmited experience with fibreglass tells me there is no cheap fix with it. Its either done properly or its not done at all. Trying to fix a job yourself to have someone else fix it later will cost you more than the initial repair.
