Well once again Troy Greg and I headed down to Spot X in search of Salmon and Bullies.

The rain had made the water pretty murky so we were feeling good for bullies but not for salmon. My grandfather also popped in for a visit as he was keen to see all these prawns from the cast net i had been telling him about.

The bait was plentiful which was good whith an easy bucket of prawns and herring aqquired with minimal work. Saldy the fishing was a bit slower. However we did only stay for about 2 1/2 hours as the weather was pretty shocking. Also im still not sure as to the potential for my rod to be lighting conductor!

All up Greg got one Shovel Nose shark.

Troy got one shovel nose Shark.

Angus got 2 catfish.

I guess for the length of time we stayed this was prob not such a bad result.

Fishing rods make very good lightning conductors, there is always a story or two every year about some fisho getting fried in a storm somewhere in the world.

Angus I always believe that when the bait is plentiful the fish are full and hard to catch.

If you can catch them prawns and keep em alive for till next week when the run slows down you'll find that you catch heaps of fish cause the bigger fish are hungry.

Now that's a hint!
