queensland Quick NPD report for 2 Oct

Couldn't help myself had to have a short session at NPD this morning before I go trout ,fishing tomorrow. Caught 4 on s/baits and neighbour got 1 also. Biggest was 51cm, which I missed getting a pic of as it jumped out of my hands while I was getting the camera. I was also bricked at my feet by what I think was a massive yella as it followed the lure in then struck and turned at the same time before the lure hit the bank.

Very nice part of the world around Ebor, lucky you! I tried to chase trout in one of the dams at my parents place near Tenterfield on the weekend, no luck though, wasn't really that committed either as head was a bit sore from a wedding (at a winery) the night before...
