Crimping Pliers

I wanted to get some crimping pliers for wire traces etc for the sharking season. I searched Ebay, BCF and numerous other stores. I rang BCF and they had crimping pliers starting at 40 dollars.I decided to think like a mechanic would as they use crimping pliers a fair bit so rang Supercheap and they sell crimping pliers alone for $3.25 or in a set for $19.95. Just goes to show that thinking outside the square can save you plenty.

Also try an electrical wholesaler.

You will pay more but quality will be better.

i just use a good set of combo pliers hasnt failed me yet

dick smith make a great set for 19..u use it in my trade they they are still holding up after 3 years of service.

but your ment to have special crimpin pliers for fishing so they dont put all the pressure in one spot

Doh.If they fail I could always revert to the good ole normal pliers.Will keep posted on success of these to see if they were a dummy buy or a bargain

ohh i forgot to mention the normal crimpers do ork still..i was just say the correct way its done thats all

Some people just use a hammer and it seems to work:dry: :silly:
