Thought I would try fishing the little backwaters out at NPD today, with the overcast skies and rain not far off the fish sneak up into the shallows in search of food. First fish on was a small bass that attacked the g/vibe with the gusto of a 50cm. Several casts later a nice 53cm bass was on the mat and then released to grow bigger. Next in line was a head shaking yella of 51cm that actualy gave a bit of a fight. I then visited the waters close to the dam wall, where I had a yella follow the s/bait in several times only to turn at the last minute, couldnt make up his mind if he was hungry or not. Not a lot of fish but some nice ones.

Did the big bass take a vibe as well?

find any ticks today? I found one after my last visit:S

Big bass was on s/bait, no ticks today but went to forgans wed and seen a eastern brown snake that made me very nervous it was 2inches thick and 4 to 6ft long, ugly ugly ugly.

It's the ticks you don't find that you've gotta worry about.
