queensland NPD 1/11/08 Forgans Cove

Decided to see if the bass where still out at NPD turns out they are just in small numbers I got 2 bass at 50cm and another about 45cm then my mate got a little 1 at 38cm. Had a few other hits and a lungfish swiming around our feet. Also the 50cm bass was the first ever fish on my new barra baitcaster rod and next week I will have my new bass baitcaster rod. Almost forgot all fish were on 5/8 purple glimer vortex spinnerbaits.

Well done Dec and here here to the choice of s/bait, be careful in that area as thats were I seen my last Eastern brown snake, keep eyes wide open all the time

I am yet to see a snake at NPD or even a tick I dont think that will last long though.

Good fish Dec, good numbers should be showing up soon I hope, I thought that the few hot days would make them want to play a bit more though. I hit the dam early Sunday for three caught and two dropped.snagged a turtle on a jackall Lungfish everywhere.

Had the absolute crap scared out of me by some big white bird that flew really close to my head and flapped its wings. I thought a plane was landing on my head.Good thing no one was there to see me run out of the water.:woohoo: What sort of bass outfit are you getting ?
