How do you fix a tent fly?

tacklebox

Tacklebox I'd suggest getting some similar material and buying some contact cement and coating (neatly) both surfaces (ie the fly & the patch) ensuring the glue is touch dry before you lay the patch over the hole. Patch it up on the underside of the fly that way it wont look so bad.

Alternatively hit up your local upholsterer and he could sew it up.

Id get some spinnaker repair tape... put a bit along each side of the cut and bamm that will be the strongest part on ur fly... I use the same tape to repair tears in my Paraglider (on the ocasion that it gets teared). Sailing shop will have it. B)

Now if that is not a trusting endorsement, then I dont know what is?

I was going to suggest something similar in 100mph tape with a neat job and it will see the fly out for a few years till a new one comes along.
