HEADING TO THE TWEED WITH BUDDHA

BIG DAVE 1

Recommended Posts

Hey guys im going down to the tweed river with my mate Buddha. WEre going for a week or so and we are looking forward to some fishing, does anyone know any land based spots that would be worth trying? we will be mainly using sp's and hardbodied lures and flies. If all else fails we will try some bait.

Used to be a land accessable yabbie bank near the old fruit inspection station if you want some bait.

I reckon the headland at fingal, or the inlets on the river on the fingal side are worth a look. SOme nice little bays and walls in there.

Take two - I got bounced out.

Best spots are Seawall at the Jack Evans courner and along the breakwall.

Into Halfway beach along saewall with poppers at dark.

Anchorage Island facing Boyds Bay Bridge

Under Boyds Bay Bridge (South Side)

Rocky Point behind the golf course

Under the Terranora Bridge North side and from the walkway leading to the south side.

Under Chinderah Bridge south side.

Do you want details?
