Second sounder

I picked a new humminbird 343c (ie 383c without the GPS)from whitworths @the Gabba $499 (doing my bit to stimulate the economy)and have fitted it etc..

I still have my old lowrance x45 broadview (it still works a charm its just 10year old resolution) Anyway i am looking for advice about;

* mounting the broadview transducer and

* am wondering if its located beside the humminbird transducer if they interfere with each others signals??

* any other recommended locations

i had 2 humminbird transducers on either side of the transom and they didnt cause any issues with each other they were maybe 400 mmm apart

If they are operating on different wavelengths then they should be fine. HB is 200khz and Lowrance is 192khz so you should get a way with it. Or you may have to use the HB with just the wider 83khz beam.

i was just wondering the reason for the 2 transducers side by side sorta thing??

you will basically get the same picture on both sounders ?

Rob the lowrance transduces has 3 units in it hence looks left middle & right
