Some scheduled dredging program for SE QLD Moreton Bay and Broadwater. I have been told that $3mil has been found for these projects and needs to be spent before 30 June.

Funny how the money has been found during the Global Financial Crisis but it has nothing to do with being so close to election time

West Crab Island – June 09

I am in communication with marina business leaders, pollies, QT and councils to try and get Wavebreak and Crab Island done at the same time. I feel that the result would be better if the projects are not completed 6 months apart.

I am also trying to get the green markers moved in the east channel of Crab so to direct motor boat traffic away from sailing vessels.

Look for the new Coastalwatch camera being installed on the roof of our Sailing Squadron Clubhouse at Hollywell.

Remind me why I haven’t been fishing lately!

I am reviewnig the contract this week, then if everything is OK as I am sure it will be 3 weeks from payment ($5400 for 3 years).
