How's Goldy Fishing???

G'day, just wondering if anyone knows how goldy is fishing at the moment and what is around. Planning a trip for the weekend but still up in the air about what to target. Any info would be good. Cheers in advance

seaway is fishing well,

drift live baits on the north wall never know what you could pick up. mostly jew ive found but big jacks live there and occasionally the odd cobia! hope this helps mate

Yeah I agree with Massy... Totally depends if your land based or you can get in a boat but the Seaway is capeable of producing damn near anything or nothing! The North wall - the rocky groin that meets South Stradbroke Island right up near the tip working your way back into the channel is FANTASTIC for live bait fishing.. Huge Tailor, Jacks, Salmon, Trevally.. Load yourself up heavier than you otherwise would for sure..

Yeah i'll be in a boat. The plan is to get into some Marlin but was just trying to work out a backup plan. Maybe flick for some snapper or jig for some kings or aj's. The seaway sounds good on the way home though
