Should excessive large people have to pay for 2 seats on a plane.

i think so, it's not the fault of the airline and in many cases its not the fault of the individual either but the extra weight does have an impact on fuel consumption and compromises the comfort of fellow passengers if one had to sit in a seat beside the large person. if the seat is left empty then it should be paid for. i think at a heavily discounted rate tho.

What about an overseas flight to London, buying 2 seats on one of them aint cheap.

Well fuel consumption came up, but how about the baggage?

People get charged for having more baggage over the limit. like $5 a kg.

However, it would be embarassing if they got on the scales at the airport... So a private room would be better suited. But these are people they are "toying" with.

So there is 2 sides to the story...

At the end of the day - The government will put down the airline And the airline will talk about it. And do little.

[bad word] that mate.i think they can piss off.kids pay full fare at partial weight so fatties can pay full rate and no more.it should even out. I hope so otherwise I will be doing a lot of road travels

If they can't actually fit on 1 seat, then I think yes. It would limit the amount of seats being sold for a flight and thus the profit.
