Just learned a lesson in soft plastics

Dont leave gulps in jigheads and expect them to come off later down the track, theyve been out in the sun for about 2 months too :dry:

haha yeh mate i worked out that about 2 years ago too i had to cut them off the jighead

Put it in a jar of water and leave it overnight. It will absorb the water and go back to normal size, and be much, much easier to get off the hook

not all soft plastics do that, a lot of squidgey and atomics dont (but I cannot vouch for 2 years)

The gulps will dry up like that in 24 hours.

Real soft plastics last for yeas without causing problems, its only the gulps, and they are really just shaped bait, not soft plastics.
