Brisbane Rive boat ramp near mouth on Northside

Hey all,

Heading out in the morning and was going to go from scarborough, but as mud island looks safest thought I might head out from the river.

Anybody got a street adress for the closest public ramp to the mouth of the brisbane river?

I would be most appreciative of any advice?

hey mate the boat ramp street runs off tingira st at pinkenba, i think its pamela st?, it gets pretty blowy there at times, if the winds up u will probably need two guys to on/off ur boat? good luck, let me know how u go.

Has anybody used the ramp on nudgee road, I'm just wondering if it is sheltered to get the boat on and off, and distance to Mud Island from there?

Could pay the Toll and launch from Whyte island.

nudgee is a little more protected but can still blow up. i think its roughly 15kms to mud from there

mate pinkenba is good enough just watch the tide/wind factor amd if ur going to drive the boat on the beach to put the trailer in the carpark (this is if ur on ur own) watch the rocks close to the ramp theres some rock that we have been propped a couple times
