Sounders for a kayak - Northstar?

Any one got any feedback on sounders for a kayak?

Use would be estuary, bay and offshore...

Anyone got any feedback on Northstar sounders? Any good?

Know one member who's got a Northstar for his Hobie...

Kreel and I have Navmans (Northstar in a previous life) and they were a bargain for the price. Not so good for anything under 2m or in a bit of chop with the transducer inside the hull.

We're still getting used to them and playing with settings but we're both happy with them.
