I had a few hours to kill today so i went down to Norman creek to the conoe lunching pontoon beside easts soccer club to take the yak for a run. Wasn't expecting much so i didn't take a camera. Launched about 3.00pm and paddled up to stanley road bridge and started throwing strikepro cyber viber in the 35mm and 45mm. Turned out an enjoyable arvo as i drifted down to the mouth on Norman ceek, Ended up with a tally of 7 bream up to 28cm and 3 cod up to 34cm all of which were released. The only down side was i was using 2 & 3 kg gear and got busted up 3 times loosing 3 brand new cyber viber by what i am assuming were bigger cod.

All in all mde for an enjoyable arvo.

on light gear you lose a few but probably get more strikes but it sounds like you had fun regardless
