Awoonga downturn

In the March edition of Modern Fishing there is an article on Awoonga going to the crappers. Anyone read it?

I also read Steve Starlo having a whinge about 1 fish in 3 days and freezing his gonads off Last November - well hello I know I was there at the same time but point is - Awoonga still has not recovered.

Has Awoonga run it's race or are the other dams just catching up?

Maybe we just expect too much from the one dam.

Does anyone know anything they can pass on before I waste my next holiday.

I've heard the same, the 3 full moons over summer, which are normally the gun fishing times, fished very poorly.

Dont know why, doubt the fish would be spooked by the fisho's (not that much for that long anyway).
