Angus the other day you posted saying that you were fishing in forest lake, got moved on and then fished some other local creek. Would you mind letting me know where you went and how it was. I went and chucked some bread in the creek at the end of my street just to see if there was anything..yes there was but only tiny. Might still give it a go and see what happens. Cheers mate.

Mare we went to these water logged quarries at the end of Bowhill Road. Pretty close.

The fishing was average.

We caught 2 freshwater eels. Kept them for shark bait though.

There was surface action which think must have been gar but we could not be certain.

If i lived near Forest Lake i would make the short trip to \"The Junction\" on the brisbane river.

Here you should be able to catch Salmon, Sharks, Bream and more.

In this map the Split in the river at Barellen Point is the spot known as \"The Junction\".
