Yakkin Jacobs Well area

Seen a few posts of Jacobs Well canals fishing well lately. Was wondering if anyone has had much success in the smaller creeks where the coomera river meets the canal development that has recently been added to Jacobs well. I put in at the end of foxwell rd and have had reasonable success with bream and a 75cm flattie last weekend. Looks to be a good spot for jack and cod but none have come my way.

Interested to hear of anyone who has had a good catch in that area. Going to hit it again this sunday and this time the mrs will let me take the camera on board so hope to post some pics next week.

yep... persist in that area mate... you'll get em eventually

I've seen a couple of good fish pulled in from that area, just keep persisting. And fire your casts in close to the structure....and cross your fingers
