Hi guys,

I am looking for a camping spot close to Happy Valley. Doesnt have to have showers etc, we are self sufficent campers. Have friends staying in a house at Happy Valley but we wanted to camp. Any ideas??

Heading north from Happy valley there is a creek running down the beach (Not Eli) from memory I think its 2k's from HV, there is a great spot with plenty of room and shade beside it. We use to camp there for years until the olds sold the hilux. I went back to the spot a few years back for a week and nothing had changed apart from the total fire band

Is that spot part of the beach camping permits required from The QLD government site? Looking at the map i think what you are talking baout is before Eli creek.

Deffinatley yes for permits for all camping. And it is halfway between HV and Eli ck from memory.
