What a fantastic event. New species for me; Squire, LongTom (sp lure), Honeycomb Cod, Trevally and a pretty thing with a blue stripe. Other fish caught; Flathead (sp lure) and Moses Perch (sp lure). Nearly getting whacked in the face by Malc's Happy Moment was NOT a happy moment! Tooling over to Peel in Malc's boat from Wynnum Yacht Club was an experience! Finding Soldier Crabs had somehow got in the pocket of me camping chair was strange....Had my first go of a tiller steer, bit confusing to start with. Malc's boat is super stable at rest. Had to laugh on the way back as it got a bit rough so Malc hit the juice and got a huge sheet of water in his grill for the trouble "That didn't work then". Thanks for a hoot of a weekend. Good Friends, Great times, roll on SoO. (When's the AFO Wanderers Peel Weekender, it is a top spot )

LongTom was best fight of the weekend on me 1-3kg rod and 6lb braid. sp fish on 6lb braid, all the rest on me big rod. Cod nearly had me unattended big rod over the side, even on baitrunner mode.....
