queensland plastics or lures

im heading out on saturday for a fish in the brissy river and would like to know why to use plastics or lures :blush:

you'd like to know why or which types?

Personal pref. really is what it comes down you, what kind of fisho are you? Contempt to sit back and relax with the stinky bait out or on your feet working a lure

Take your plastics, to get down deep.

You can troll hard bodies or flick them around rock walls and sandbars.

Vibe style lures are very popular too (Like Transoms or Nadderzams).

So take both

i like lures myself throw them out and troll away let the boat work aswell as the rods and lures,when your kickin back in the boat doesnt get much better then that.

all styles of fishing have their merits imo and i think its good for the soul to shake things up and try new methods. i predominantly cast lures around the brissy, because thats what i enjoy most

if you stick with whatever style you like to fish and put the hours in with an open mind and keen senses you will find success

Hey mate,

with the cold really starting to settle in, my money would be on scented plastics. Some species tend to become a little lethargic during the colder months and need that little something extra to entice a strike.

It really depends on what species you are chasing?
