Actually mate, it is awesome to be back, as I have developed a bit of a passion for freshwater fishing over the past year or so (blame Jimmy Bob), however it was a pretty good experience up north.

I will see you at the trivia night mate woot woot!!!

Hello tiotony,

No, I didn't see any there-abouts, however, due to the close proximity of Mitchell St, and my fondness for beer, I didn't get down there. I did go around to the cove behind the MQ's, east of the Long Tan boozer, and that is where I was getting some spaniards, queenies and GT's (mostly small, but good fun on light gear.

The majority of my four months up there were spent on the boats, with the trusty boat rod tucked away in the Swimmer shower, and the occasional troll.

Wicked writeup Ryan. Sorry I never got back to you on kitting you up with a few more Lemax products, just got tied up and forgot all about it.

Looks like it was a great experience. It's a wild part of the country up there hey. Would love to get to Christmas Island at some point too, looks like a beautiful place and the fishing there is just insane!
