Figured I'd start contributing and putting up a few more reports even if the fishing is quiet. Fished the lower reaches of the river land based and targeted a certain rocky bank that I know holds bream but I thought it might hold the odd bigger fish. Worked it over with a Threadybuster Jnr In hope of a Soapie or even a thready. Not what I was after but the donut was saved a little Cod eating the vibe. Later on I got destroyed by something with a bit more go in it Rod was a Steez Stormshadow 6'6 4 - 10lb and a Luvias 2500 with 15lb Sunline Super P.E and 20lb Berkley Triline leader.

the cod strike hard, but not as hard as a jack, your the cod king pinky, wasnt long ago you pulled that larger one on the same threadybuster, was that the lure busted off ?

Haha thanks mate, they have been going well this winter on the Cod, have to see how they will go on the jacks in a few months. :side:
