Cooktown and Cape Tribulation

G day Mat, I live up here in Cooktown. The wharf can be productive with a lot of good barra being caught every year. If you have a tinny ,head up the North arm of the Endeavour River and flick at a few snags, be sure to pack some crab pots and watch out for the salties. We had an unfortunate tourist taken up there last year..If you dont mind parting with $100 , I strongly recommend a half day out with Shane Miller, He is a local with a wealth of knowledge and he will see you right. Also if you drop into Cooktowns "Lure Shop" on the main street, Nick Stock or Russle Bowman will tell you where they are biting. The Annan River can also be good for a barra or 2. Have fun and let us know how you go. Al
