Pelagic reels

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to get a baitrunner type reel for snapper and the likes. Unfortunately funds are tight (wedding almost here), I was looking on eBay and I have seen all the pelagic brand stuff before and thought nothing of it but I thought I'd put the question forward here. Has anyone bought one of these reels and how do they perform?

Alternatively I have a Shimano TSS4 that was only used a few times if anyone is interested in a trade, I am looking at a baitrunner in the range of 20 to 30 lb

Forget about the pelagic rubbish. All the "stainless" steel on it will rust after a the first outing.

You can get a shimano bairunner 8000d for about $200 shipped. Depending on size D series baitrunner go from about $180-$220.

Just ditch a few less important guests off the list.

pelagic reels? a load of Crap, never bye anything that is not a well knowen brand like shimano, daiwa, ect
