It seems to work ok if you go in via community but doesnt work via the icon under someones post count.

Yep, I see.

I can't send one from :-

-via box under poster's avatar in a thread;

-friends list;

-user's profile page.

However I can compose one via the "Community" drop down tab.

I can type a reply to old PM's in my Inbox, but they do not "send".

hi everyone long time no see!

i recently got back from new zealand and have been flat out cleaning up flood effected houses and my own property!

this is the first time i have logged in since being back and i also cant reply to any messages and also took me 45min to get to this point! so i hope this post works?

I got a pm message notification to my email account at 1:20pm today for a pm that was sent at 1:51pm on the 23/1/2011 - must have got lost in the mail.......

I got 11 emails today telling me i had pm waiting, had a look and only 1 unread one.....

Ignore them please.

For some reason the email notifications were not sending.

Anyway Webby fixed this but it resulted in those that had not been sent coming through at once.

When we changed servers, the email notification for PMs got broken. We have fixed this now, and so as you have discovered a few emails may have come through that were for PMs you had already seen.

We will look into the other issue of pms not working in some parts of the site. We have been working to fix an issue on the site, and in the process may have broken a few other minor things.
